Pastor Chris and his wife Nancy planted this church 12 years ago as Turning Point Church of Utica, on the location of the new Downtown Utica Hospital. He was saved 17 years ago while watching the movie "The Passion of the Christ" when God spoke directly to his heart and told Him it was time to come to Him.

Chris grew up on Long Island and was a pro-chef for many years. He also had a career as a Private Investigator. His background in investigations led him to a deep desire to study God's Word and pray - To hear from the Lord and learn His truths to pastor and to teach others.

Chris and Nancy have been married over 25 years. After being saved, Chris was an evangelist, doing much street evangelism and open-air preaching in and around Oneonta NY. God then called him into Pastoral Ministry and Chris (and then Nancy) attended bible school at Pinecrest Bible Training Center in Salisbury Center, NY.

Chris loves his wife Nancy, Brody their pup and Sophie and Sasha their 2 cats. He enjoys pickleball, bible study and the occasional video game. He lives with his family in Utica, NY.
