"To God Be The Glory Alone!"
“Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever;”
~ Psalm 146, verses 1-6
Whose are you placing your hope in today?
No matter who you vote for, be they republican or democrat; independent or libertarian, realize that in the end, the hope of the Christian lies not in men or women, but in God Almighty!
This is a hope which is not common to people in these times when it is more accepted to be atheist then a believer. But our hope lies in God, not man! Our trust is not in any elected official, but instead in The Lord God Almighty, who has given us a hope which transcends this time and place!
And we can shout like the Psalmist:
"I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being! For He alone is our hope. He alone is our salvation, be it here on earth, or in heaven!"
